the virus which has killed more than 1200 people in four West African
countries, four of whom have died in Nigeria has led to panic in the
international community as every nation is working round the clock to ensure
that it prevent the spread of the virus into its territory.
In view of this, our neighbour Cameroon, has closed its borders with Nigeria
inorder to halt the spread of the Ebola virus, state Radio said on Tuesday.
“the Government has taken the
decision to protect its population because it is much better to prevent than
cure the Ebola virus,” minister of communications and government spokesman Issa
Tchiroma Bakary told Reuters.
