After the fifth combined policy
meeting on admissions to tertiary institutions held at the National
Universities Commission [NUC] on
Tuesday, JAMB registrar and Chief executive, Professor Dibu Ojerinde told
newsmen about the outcome of the meeting and that the decisions were
unanimously agreed by all stakeholders at the meeting.
Jamb has pegged this year’s cut
off mark as follows:
180 for Universities
150 for Polytechnics and Colleges
of Education
Meanwhile, the supervising
minister of Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike frowned at the inability of most
tertiary institutions to utilize their admission quota.
THE QUESTION
Is their need to remind us every year of the cut off mark
that has remained unchanged for long?
