WE HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CHIBOK GIRLS-U.S
The United States on Friday said it had no idea of the
location of the kidnapped Chibok girls nothing however that there is no let up
in the efforts to locate and rescue them. However, the U.S said it has
decreased it surveillance flights in the search for the about 219 school girls
abducted by Boko Haram.
According to Reuters, Pentagon spokesman Rear admiral
John Kirby told reporters saying: “we don’t have any better idea today than we
did before about where these girls are, but there’s been no let up of the
effort itself” Kirby went on to deny suggestions that US flights over
Nigeria had been reduced to accommodate increased US surveillance over Iraq,
where Washington is flying unmanned and manned aircraft to gather intelligence
about Sunni insurgents.
THE QUESTION
Why
then did they reduce the surveillance over Nigeria?
